We are passionate documentary filmmakers who can’t wait to film your special day! We pay special detail to your story and edit our films in a way that will be enjoyable for many years to come!

Steven Canatella studied at Southeastern Louisiana University for Mass Communications with an emphasis on new media, but he mostly goofed off in the radio and TV station on campus.

It was there that he fell in love with all things editing and practiced his camera skills filming short news segments for the Southeastern Channel. After attending the Disney College Program, he came back to Louisiana to work for 2 of the best wedding videography companies in Baton Rouge, while helping to create corporate media for a local RV dealership.

In 2015, he began filming weddings exclusively under “Louisiana Is For Lovers” and hasn’t looked back since!

Steven currently lives with his wife, Lindsay Lewis Canatella, and their beagle, Louie. Even though COVID tried to stop them, they married on May 24th, 2020.
